Last Saturday the 30th of June, IIDEA attend the launch event for the SHU Racing Team, the Formula Student Racing Team from Sheffield Hallam University. This was the first time the car had been seen in public and what an amazing car it is! The car is a continuing evolution of the previous vehicles entered by SHU Racing into the race event which is now in its 25th year. Having been sponsors of the team for the last couple of years, it is interesting to see how each new team evolve the design of the car learning from the work of the team during the past year. It will be fantastic to see the vehicle compete against the rest of the teams at the Formula Student event later in the year and going forward to see how far the teams of the future can ultimately take the car.
