Nuclear Power Sector
IIDEA engineering supporting nuclear industries
Nuclear power is likely to be a significant engineering sector for the next few decades at the very least. Classed as “clean energy”, nuclear power can generate electricity without any of the carbon emissions associated with fossil fuel power generation. The need to reduce carbon emissions will help push this energy source to the forefront of environmentally sound power generation for the foreseeable future.
IIDEA Limited is closely linked to the Nuclear supply chain through its collaborative work with the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (NAMRC). Through this collaboration we have successfully delivered a number of engineering projects to NAMRC involving the machining of components used in developmental and experimental applications.
The proximity of IIDEA to the Nuclear AMRC on the Advanced Manufacturing Park means that we are able to work very closely and responsively with this world leading research institute.
